Scope of Work Completed

Demolition of buildings and removal of hardstand.
The manufacturing plant in Altona was stripped of all possible items a separation made and the building collapsed in a controlled manner and then processed at ground level.
Following removal of all scope items, Ausdecom removed all waste materials including protruding reinforcement and/or trip hazards and handed back the site to BASF ready for its future use.

Works Included:

• Internal strip out of warehouse and cold storage facility including mezzanine offices
• Removal of asbestos wall and roof sheets
• Demolition of cold store facility
• Mechanical demolition of warehouse structure consisting of brick and concrete tilt panel walls
• Mechanical demolition of steel wall columns, purlins and roof trusses
• Demolition of effluent plant and pipeline
• Removal of over 500m effluent pipeline from live pipe rack within neighboring DOW Chemical plant
• Removal and recycling of over 10,300t of concrete slab and footing
